Privacy Policy
Effective October 10, 2026 · Last updated October 11, 2026
The short version: this website does not ask for, collect, sell, or share your personal information. We don’t use cookies, analytics, ads, or trackers. If you email us, we only use what you send to reply to you.
Who we are
Art from the Heart Initiative (“we,” “us”) is a student-led group at Little Rock Central High School in Little Rock, Arkansas. This policy covers artfromtheheartinitiative.org.
Information we collect
We don’t have sign-ups, accounts, forms, comment sections, or online payments, so the website itself does not collect personal information from you.
- If you email us at artfromtheheartar@gmail.com, we receive your email address and whatever you include in your message. We use it only to respond to you, and we never sell it or share it for marketing.
- Hosting: our site is hosted on GitHub Pages. Like most web hosts, GitHub may automatically log basic technical data such as IP addresses for security and to keep the service running. See GitHub’s Privacy Statement.
Cookies and tracking
We don’t set cookies and we don’t use analytics, advertising, or tracking tools. Our fonts and images are served from our own site, not from third parties. Because we don’t track visitors, we treat every visitor the same way whether or not their browser sends a “Do Not Track” or Global Privacy Control signal.
We use Google Search Console to see which Google searches lead people to our site. It doesn’t add cookies or tracking code to our pages; it only shows us summary search data that Google already collects from its own search results.
Videos and outside links
Our tutorial videos are hosted on YouTube and Google Drive. Nothing from those services loads until you press play. Once you do, the video is delivered by that company (YouTube videos use its privacy-enhanced mode) and its own privacy policy applies.
We also link to other websites, like Instagram, Spotify, GroupMe, the Central Arkansas Library System, and our partners. We don’t control those sites, so please review their privacy policies when you visit them.
Children’s privacy
Our projects are made for kids and families, so we take children’s privacy seriously. We don’t knowingly collect personal information from children under 13, and the website has no way to submit any. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has emailed us personal information, contact us at artfromtheheartar@gmail.com and we will delete it.
Photos from our events
We share photos from our meetings, booths, and community events to show our work. We remove location data and other hidden details from photos before posting them. If you or your child appears in a photo and you’d like it taken down, email artfromtheheartar@gmail.com and we’ll remove it promptly — no explanation needed.
Your choices
We don’t sell or share personal information. Wherever you live, you can ask us what information we have from you (for example, an email you sent), ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it by emailing artfromtheheartar@gmail.com.
Keeping the site secure
Every page is served over an encrypted HTTPS connection. Our pages are set up to block scripts and content from outside websites, except the YouTube and Google Drive video players you choose to play.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle information, we’ll update this page and the effective date at the top.
